Framing AR+ community activities for 2024

Hilary Bradbury, curator at AR+ Foundation, introduced a handful of community activities starting soon and running through 2024:

Starting in March and April, coLABs now open for registration

  • Starting March 12th we offer a coLAB as a deeper dive into constructivist adult development. Entitled Chopsticks to Tchaikovsky: Developing repertoire for personal and systems resilience at a time of planetary crisis, participants will learn more about the practical value of the theory for our action researching work, enjoy a one on one feedback session, use of assessment instruments and support of a community up to good things.
  • Starting April 18th  we start our coLAB on Leadership as Developmental Friendship. This coLAB supports individual and collective action in response to Eco-Social Crisis. Love it!
  • Our first online seminar is scheduled for April 11th. It’s a symposium – in partnership  – around a special issue of ARJ concerned with transforming the poverty field. It is open for registration.

Hilary introduced the coLABs & activities with a reminder of our partners around the work as well as our shared purpose. Who knows, it may not be too late to plant seeds for a life enhancing- more sustainable  – world!

And it was a great pleasure to have poetic words from our own Poet Laureate who likens the community to mycelium. Also to listen in with AR+ members checking in on what’s alive for them.

Further opportunities for meeting and practicing together will be announced once details emerge from the mycelium!
