Action Dialogue Coaching

Hilary Bradbury describes her coaching as action dialogue...

"My coaching is a kind of action dialogue with individuals and leadership teams. In this I listen and mirror back to you your own genius for moving to action with your stakeholders. Of course we may have to remove a few obstacles on the way to your genius.  More fun that way!
Action dialogue coaching supports the catalytic work of transformation.  Foremost in this "inside out" approach to systems change work is co-creating a relational "protainer." You get to catalyze a next level of sensemaking and action taking with your stakeholders.  Therefore expect our work to involve looking at power relationships within and around you.
You might expect to set up regular appointments over, usually, nine sessions. Between our meetings you'll experiment with what we're cooking up together."

If you would like to explore if this is a timely fit, I offer an initial exploratory action dialogue so we might both determine if the conditions are right for our working together.

Action Dialogue coaching invites a developmental attitude to self and community transformation.  You're therefore invited (often repeatedly) to clarify intention, and how that intention is shared (and not) with your stakeholders. We'll speak from the heart (referring to data when useful), respect generative silence (mindfulness),  use the visual arts, and practice hanging in when confidence is shaken. And… yes, enjoying the process too as it unfolds in a way that prefigures good action research for transformations for all involved.
