April 11th Workshop on Transforming Poverty. An ARJ SpeciaI Issue Partnership

We cordially invite you to a participative, online launch of the Action Research Journal’s (ARJ) special issue on Action Research for Transforming the Poverty Field.

• 14.00-16.30 UTC, i.e., Paris time 16.00-18.30

This workshop is a partnership between AR+ and ATD Fourth World and based on the first ARJ SpeciaI Issue of 2024 on Action Research for Transforming the Poverty Field.

Key points from the 6 articles in the special issue will be discussed by people who have experienced both poverty and participatory research processes.  Afterwards, all participants will engage in dialogue on obstacles to truly participatory and transformative research and ways for overcoming them.

Upon registration, you will then receive the 6 articles and summary posters for each one. You will also be asked to choose the article which you would like to discuss with the authors during the event.
