I was talking with Bjørn Uldall, an AR+ member [link]. Both of us bemoaned what can sometimes feel like doing work that soothes the larger social system. We’d prefer to invest fully in the Great Turning. We’d prefer to consciously hospice away from the modernist machine system toward an ecological world.
In our silence I located and read him that fabulous Rainer Maria Rilke quote above. In return Bjørn shared a video which allows us imagine that Artificial Intelligence, in the right hands, may bring a huge shift in how we relate to one another and other sentient beings. And it seems the whole world is sentient…

Yay. AI assisting us in understanding animal language! AI assisting is in experiencing more of the ecological wisdom all around us.
Maybe if more of us could understand plant and animal communication then we might act more ecologically?! I’m hopeful. I’m also curious. Whales and Dolphins have been “talking’ to one another for over 30 million years. What do they have to tell us, we newcomers, who have only been speaking for 200,000 years. And most of that time too little of that worth repeating…?!
