Researcher position IIED

The post holder will be part of the team working on strengthening local to global partnerships. They will be responsible for developing and leading research on effective planning and financing for climate action in low and middle-income countries.

To succeed in this role you must have a postgraduate degree in a relevant social sciences discipline, with some quantitative aspects. Your research in climate change will include: working with concepts of resilience; climate change planning and financing, and climate risk management in developing country contexts.

You will be fluent in English with good oral and written communication skills and the ability to produce a range of research publications for different audiences. You will be a competent French speaker and will be experienced at communicating confidently in both French and English to a diverse range of colleagues and partners from different backgrounds and cultures.
