AASPIRE Healthcare Toolkit Integration Project<\/b><\/p>\n
Position Number: D91622<\/span><\/p>\n Rank: Senior Research Assistant II<\/span><\/p>\n Department: Regional Research Institute<\/span><\/p>\n School\/College: School of Social Work<\/span><\/p>\n Overall description of Academic Autism Spectrum Partnership in Research and Education (AASPIRE) Healthcare Toolkit Integration Project: <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n AASPIRE, an academic-community partnership comprised of academics, autistic adults, healthcare providers, and supporters, has used a community based participatory research (CBPR) approach to develop and test an online healthcare toolkit aimed at improving primary care services for autistic adults. <\/i>In the current project, will conduct a pilot study, using a CBPR approach, with patients assigned to intervention and control clinics in three diverse health systems (Kaiser Permanente Northern California, Oregon Health and Science University, and Legacy Health Systems). The aims of the current project are: 1) to determine how to integrate use of the toolkit within diverse health systems; 2) to test the effect of the toolkit on short-term healthcare outcomes; 3) to use a mixed-methods approach to further explore the toolkit\u2019s mechanisms of action; and 4) to refine our recruitment, retention, data collection, and system integration strategies in preparation for the larger cluster-randomized trial.<\/span><\/p>\n Position Description and Duties and Responsibilities: <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n The Project Coordinator will manage the day to day aspects of the project, under the direct supervision of Dr. Nicolaidis. <\/span><\/p>\n 0.6 FTE through 12\/31\/2018, dependent on continued funding <\/span><\/p>\n Compensation: <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n The annual salary rate for this position will be between $55,596, up to $58,008 (this salary range reflects full-time 12-month annual rates, the position salary will be pro-rated for actual FTE), depending on experience, with an excellent benefits package including 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon Public Universities.<\/span><\/p>\n
