The ARAMA Chair in Action Research at Sabanc\u0131 University will host the 6th International Journal of Action Research (IJAR) Symposium in Istanbul on October 12-14, 2022, in collaboration with IJAR.<\/p>\n
The symposium will be held in a hybrid format, both physical and virtual.<\/p>\n
The main theme of the 2022 Symposium is \u2018Action Research on the Edge\u2019 which reflects the dynamics of the socio-ecological context that the world has been immersed in within the last few decades. These dynamics indicate a state of turbulence characterized by extreme conditions and an unexpected triggering of events within this new causal texture of the organizational environment.<\/p>\n
At one of the easternmost points of Europe and westernmost points of Asia, Turkey is perfectly positioned on this edge and surrounded by these currents of change and transformation. The country\u2019s transcontinental setting thus presents fascinating experimental opportunities for action research interventions and practices.<\/p>\n

Participant fee for the IJAR 2022 symposium (virtual and physical) is 100 Euros. Student participation is free.<\/p>\n

Please submit your original papers on action research contributing to one of the symposium themes listed below. Selected papers will be nominated for a special edition in IJAR.<\/p>\n
DEADLINE for paper abstracts is JUNE 27th and DEADLINE for full papers is AUGUST 8th.<\/p>\n

Abstracts should not exceed 300 words and briefly explain the contribution to the current state of knowledge in terms of contemporary debates, discussions, fields, varieties, theories, and practices of action research.<\/p>\n
