Re-a-warding the brilliant but underutilized mid career leaders in regenerativity

Hilary Bradbury introduces what it would look like to have a De La Salle Golden “Mango” Award forĀ  mid-career faculty. Those at mid career are often the most brilliant, but underutilized people with too few opportunities for their own development. She asks what would happen if we offered them an award to provide them with developmental opportunities that encourages them to look at any local sustainability issues, and bring the local toward a global reach. This is the work of a group not individuals. A group together, with its variety of skills, can assemble a portfolio together, and work to research and teach, putting together a collective portfolio that connects to the broader community who want more from our universities today.
