PAR and story telling

My argument is that an PAR apprenticeship is required to learn the PAR processes. These research skills cannot be learned from a text book. Two studies will be discussed in the powerpoint attached to show the apprenticeship model:
(1) Older patients: Prevention of Delirium in the Acute Care Hospital setting
(2) What can be done to improve maternal health in Papua New Guinea?
We begin with an introduction to Tina Koch and why Participative Action Research (PAR). These slides are from a distinguished public lecture given by Prof. Koch.
