Invitation to 2014 SWDTC Doctoral Conference: Participatory Action Research and Critical Inquiry
2014 SWDTC Doctoral Conference:
Participatory Action Research and Critical Inquiry
Invitation to Attend
We are delighted to invite you to attend a three-day conference at the University of Bristol on Participatory Action Research and Critical Inquiry.
Date: 30th June to 2nd July 2014
Location: Hamilton House, Bristol
Cost: TBC
We have developed a diverse and balanced programme which incorporates interactive sessions and workshops, and opportunities for more focused learning from experienced researchers through panel discussions and individual presentations.
This conference will provide a setting for students, academics and practitioners to come together to share and co-produce knowledge about PAR and Critical Inquiry. Participants will have opportunities to raise specific issues that they are facing in their work and to learn from the combined experience of a unique group of scholar activists and practitioners. We are anticipating speakers from Bristol, elsewhere in the UK, Ireland, the US, Norway, Denmark and Israel, and are excited by what will hopefully be a diverse, collaborative and rich learning environment.
If you would like to join us, please send an email to par.bristol.doctoralconference@gmail.com with a brief (200 words) expression of interest. Places are very limited so apply early to avoid disappointment.
Lunch and refreshments provided.
Please arrange your own travel and accommodation.
