AR+ Teaching & Education Co-Lab

Steward: Martin Leahy, Ph.D.

Inviting new participants to an ongoing community of educators, started in 2016. Current members are based in North America, Europe, and Asia, transforming teaching and learning by expanding the use of action research in teaching, service, and research.

New members (pre-K to grad school) will join in a focus on:

  1. Sharing AR teaching materials and developing webinars for faculty, staff, and students;
  2. Advocating for institutional embrace of action research; and
  3. Certifying action researching educator practitioners.
Teaching & Education Co-Lab

Convenes monthly: smaller groups meet on ad hoc basis around projects of their creation.

AR+ a non profit 501.c3 organization. Donations are tax deductible in the USA.
Scholarships are available upon request and mutual agreement.
No one will be turned away for want of funding. Contact Hilary if you need to discuss.

The suggested donation for participation is $250 per cohort/program.

The education co-lab is a monthly meeting of action researching faculty. The following videos illustrate the emphasis on learning with students that is key to this kind of education. In each we see a professor (who is part of the co-lab) and a previous student. We see the student arise as a future professor as the current professor learns from the student.

Ben and Rommel are from the MBA program of DeLa Salle University in Manila, Philippines.

Martin and Jean are from the doctoral program of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology
